ROMA Project Management was founded by two experienced project managers whose careers span both consultant and owner side environments. That experience shapes how we advise clients, structure projects and remain directly involved from early planning through to completion.
We understand how organisations plan capital investment and how internal project teams operate, but we also recognise that every project has different priorities. Some require careful planning to support long term asset performance, while others involve coordinating workplace projects within existing buildings where approvals, interfaces and programme alignment are critical. Responding to those differences with the right level of leadership and involvement is central to how we work.

Robert brings over 15 years of experience across both consulting and client side project management roles. His career spans new build developments and complex delivery environments through to in house positions with major property organisations, providing a well rounded understanding of how projects are planned, coordinated and delivered from multiple perspectives.
He is known for bringing project teams together around clear objectives and maintaining momentum across complex programmes of work. Much of his experience has involved leading large scale capital programmes where careful coordination across consultants, contractors and stakeholders is essential to achieving successful outcomes.
Robert treats every stakeholder with fairness and respect, whether that is the client, the consultant or the contractor on site. He understands that successful projects depend on strong relationships and clear coordination across the entire project team from planning through to completion.

Matthew brings over 20 years of experience across project management and leadership roles in the built environment. A significant part of his career was spent working in house with a major Australian property organisation, where he led a national capital works programme and a team of more than 25 project managers, giving him a strong understanding of how large property organisations plan and deliver capital investment.
His experience spans a broad range of capital programmes including asset repositioning initiatives, base building upgrades, speculative fitouts and major services infrastructure projects. This breadth allows Matthew to adapt his approach to suit the priorities of each engagement while maintaining clear alignment between project objectives and delivery outcomes.
Matthew is well regarded across the industry as a leader who combines technical knowledge with a practical and considered approach to working with clients and project teams. He understands the pressures clients operate under and focuses on providing clear direction and confidence throughout the life of a project.
Projects involve multiple stakeholders with different priorities. ROMA provides a consistent point of coordination so information flows clearly between consultants, contractors and clients and decisions are made with the right context at the right time.

ROMA acts as a central point of responsibility across the project team. We maintain alignment between scope programme and budget so projects remain connected from planning through to completion.

Risk exists across every aspect of a project including scope programme cost approvals stakeholder coordination and delivery conditions. ROMA identifies these risks early and works with clients to manage them proactively so they are addressed deliberately rather than absorbed into outcomes later in the project.

Clients rely on clear judgement as much as technical oversight. ROMA provides practical advice informed by experience across capital programmes and workplace projects so decisions remain balanced aligned and well supported throughout the life of a project.
